Scout. Bookworm. Adrenaline Junkie.
I am currently working at IDEO where I'm using my technical skills in addition to my design expertise to design products and services that meet people's needs and help boost their quality of life.
I believe in the power of design to make people’s lives better, easier, and more enjoyable. As a designer and humanist, I love seeing how people engage with the world, and how we evolve, change, and adapt.
“Try leaving this world a little better than you found it”, has been my daily mantra since I joined the Scouts of Lebanon at the age of six, where I grew up learning to give back to my community. My desire to learn and my passion for arts led me to major in Graphic Design in my undergrad, and pursue a Master in Interaction Design at California College of the Arts. I love observing the things people do and learn about our motivations, intentions, attitudes, and needs. I love to explore what makes us wake up in the morning, what are our biggest fears, what are our dreams, what we live for, what makes our eyes shine bright... I get most excited while designing for complex challenges and understanding bigger systems.
Also, I’ve always been a craftsperson, interested in making things. I walk around with a camera on my shoulder and a sketchbook in my bag. If I’m not at my desk brainstorming new projects, I can be found outdoors: camping, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, cliff jumping (next on my bucket list is skydiving)... On other days, I visit museums, read novels, or go to the movie theater.
I value honesty, trust, loyalty, ambition, hard work, commitment, and teamwork. I seek to join a company that is purpose-driven and people-focused, aiming to solve complex challenges in the hope of making this world a better place.
